DAY 1
Departure 09.30a.m. Transfer to the main harbor to meet our speed boat to visit the floating houses of “Belen”, located on the edge of the Itaya river, continue traveling down the Amazon River to arrive at the ecological private reserve “Cumaceba Lodge”, accommodation in the bungalows with private bathrooms. Typical lunch, later a walk into the primary forest learning about medicinal plants and wildlife of the reserve. At night, jungle walk excursion to hear the sound of the rain forest animals and to find various nocturnal insects and frogs. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY 2
Early jungle walk to a primary rainforest to look for monkeys, birds, sloths, medicinal plants, orchids. Breakfast and a visit to the Yagua Indian village, after lunch, tour along the Amazon river visiting a small zoo to see a variety of animals like sloths, monkeys, turtles, Caymans, the famous Anaconda. Later, we’ll go on a nocturnal lake excursion in canoes, with possibility of observing Caymans (Alligators). Dinner. Overnight.

DAY 3
Early canoe ride to observe birds in their natural habitat in the “Shansho lake”. Breakfast and we’ll walk into the forest towards a secondary trail to see the river side huts, farms and experience the way how local people live. Walking to the Yanayacu river to get the canoe and go on fishing piranhas as well as other species. Typical lunch and return to Iquitos. Transfer to the hotel or airport.
